Hello Maureen, Hope you are feeling a little more mobile now. If possible could you look for two marriages for me. Thomas Fairclough baptised 2 July 1826 in Wigan to Mary. Also, Thomas' father, James Fairclough born abt 1802 in Wigan to Ruth. Don't hold out much hope but its worth a try if you are able to look. Thanks in advance. Jenny

Maureen If you get time and you are looking at 'D's for anyone else I would be interested in any Dilks or Dilkes, particularly in Durham and Lancashire. Unfortunately my Dilks people literally moved around every year so at any given time could be anywhere. I didn't realise Brickmakers were such travellers! I would particularly pleased if you turn up anything for Michael Dilks. Don't worry if this is too vague, I wouldn't like you to spend ages on a blanket search but I would be interested in any you come across while looking for other people. Many thanks and best wishes Andrea

Dear Maureen - It looks as though you are being inundated with enquiries - hope you will not mind another, from N.Z. Please could you look through for Gt.Gt.Grandma Susan Carr born Shoreditch c 1825. Her first marriage was to MYAL (possibly James) and her second to Zachariah TRICKER. These two marriages would have taken place between 1843 and 1852 - if not Shoreditch possibly St.Saviour/Southwark. Hope I have given enough info. By the way, hope that poor old foot is improving. Many thanks. JMH.

Maureen you poor thing . Hope your foot mends quickly for you. I am searching for a marriage of Joseph THACKWELL ( Sometimes known as James Joseph ) to Mary HALL. It would appear their first daughter Jane Elizabeth Thackwell was born in gatecombe ( poss Somerset ) in 1829. Some evidence points to them marrying in NEWPORT and some suggests Gatecomb. Would you be able to find them for me please? Plus could I also ask for Jane's birth to be searched for too? Many thanks for your offer of help Much happiness Debi

Hi Maureen, I would be grateful if you could try to find Francis Kennedy born in Bermondsey around 1849, could be a couple of years either way as census ages vary slightly. I have no idea of his parentage as he is a real brick wall and I can't go back any further on him - the first census he turn up in is 1881! Many thanks, Lorraine
