I know he married a jean/jane Sloan 1835 but I am desperate to know his first wife or another after Sloan. Also my Lawcock tree never seems to gather much info. Hi Lorraine, Sorry about not giving you a first name regarding Clarke's in Dublin. I know there is a James Clarke & Joseph Clarke that everyone seems to have been named after so I reckon it will be a dead cert. for 1851 census. Is there any mention of a James Mullins too, I don't know which side of the Liffey they lived only that James Mullins fell in it and died apparently. Regards Sheila
