Hi Lorraine, Many thanks for your kind offer. I am trying to trace the birth of ALEXANDER ASPLAND born approximately 1830 in Surrey. I have found him on the 1861,1871,1881,1891 census as a basket maker. I also have his marriage certificate dated 1864. His fathers name was also Alexander Aspland (basket maker). Unfortunately I have now come to a brick wall, so any help on either of them would be appreciated. Regards Shirley

Lorraine - please could you do a Scottish birth check for Ann Fawcett. She can't when or where she was born though. According to her MC 24/12/1858 she was 20, father joseph fawcett, publican. 1861 census said she was 18 and born Glasgow 1871 census said she was 29 and born York Any light on this woman would be much appreciated. Am looking for Louisa Whyatt(Wyatt) born Bristol c1832 and her brother Henry born Kingswood, Gls 1828. Also James and Ann Commins/Cummins, husband and wife living in Thoberton, Devon.
