he was born c 1831 so he would have been about 30 his wife lucy was about 25 susie

Hi Susie The census is not indexed so I can't do a search as such. I simply have to scroll through the pages looking for individuals. Bridgwater is a hugh area with literally hundreds of pages. Hi Nikki Concerning Edward and Harriet Hawkins in Weston, Bath. I don't know their address. Someone looked them up in Gordon Beavington's 1851 transcription and found them aged 25 but didn't give me any address except 'Weston'. In the 1881 census they were at 'Shepherds Gardens' but that name doesn't exist in the modern era, so whether it was a street, tenement or business name is unknown. Sorry I can't be more help.
