Annie, Sorry, no trace of Percival on the 1910 or 1920 census. Don't see him on the immigration records either. To determine year of marriage on the 1930, compare age at time of census vs age at marriage. The difference for Percival is 7 years so you can assume they married around 1923. Where though is a mystery. Too bad they had no children or I could have possibly tracked them down that way. The census records are continually being updated so perhaps he will turn up later. Rose |

Thelma, The only record I found was for a Rowland Aberly who immigrated to the US, arriving at NY in 1831 at the age of 27. There is no other info or image available for this record. I can't find Rowland on the 1830 or 1840 census. Only heads of households were listed until 1850 when all household members were named but I can't find any Aberly/Abberly/Habberly's on the 1850 or 1860 census. Have you been able to find Benjamin on the 1851 UK census? Rose |

Rosemary please would you check for James Evans (sometimes born Wales sometimes Shropshire) and wife Mary (sometimes born Staffordshire, usually Shifnal Shrops) their two children were born New Foundland, the first in 1831, sometimes birth place given USA. I imagine they went out about 1829-1830. A few years later they returned to Shropshire. Hope this makes sense, thanks even if you cant help, it is generous of you to offer. XX |

Becky, Did William come over with his family? I saw a William Sparks on the 1861 born 1854 in Birmingham, living in Birmingham, parents were Charles and Ann. Is this the right William Sparks? He is not appearing on the 1881 or 1901 Canadian Census in Ontario or any other Province. Email me about his family members. Rose |

Allen, I found a James Hume on the 1910 US census b 1883 in England. Living in San Francisco, boarder, occ: Carpenter. Immigrated 1906 which is probably too early. The only other records I saw were on the Ellis Island site. There are several records for James Hume during the early 1920's who is a member of the passenger ship crew. He is married and would be the right age. Is it possible he fought and died in WW1? He might have gone to Australia. I know there is a few people on GR who have access to various records for Australia. Sorry I couldn't be more help. Rose |
