Thanks for the offer Sarah am trying to find out any info on a Robert Collins and May Collins who lived in manchester when 1 of their son's was bornJohn Collins in 1906. I am trying to find out their m date and both births but not knowing anything about them is proving hard. Anything before 1901 would be a start, as far as i am aware they were both born in manchester lancashire. Robert is not on his sons birth cert but is on his m cert in 1937 (i know you dont go that far up)as being deceased and painter and decorator so i assume he was away in the war Thank you for any info Kath.

KATHLEEN - do you have the birth cert for John? Does it say what May's maiden name was? The only marriage I have found so far with the groom Robert Collins and his wife May is this one: Aldous, May 1887 December Marriages Norwich Norfolk COLLINS, Robert James 1887 December Marriages Norwich Norfolk but this is nowhere near Manchester! Do you have any other details ie were there any older or younger children? Approx ages for any of them?
