OH ok then, well then i'm looking for the birth of James Ford born about 1848 in hatfield, hertfordshire, and a marriage for a william charles read between 1854-1864 in surrey (maybe london?) married to an ellen ? they were both born about 1838 in surrey! Any help would be wonderful!! LMP :) |

Not daft, I should have explained it better! BIVRI is British Isles Vital Records Index and contains 5 million births, christenings an marriages dating from 1538 to 1888. It is only partial though so as I said its a bit hit and miss. Not entirely sure myself which areas it covers so its just a case of 'try it and see'. Pam |
