Hi Ellen, a 1907 marriage cert gives them as married and an 1891 census gives them as donald robertson 1859 joiner catherine 1855 alexander 1885 catherine 1887 I apologise for the delay-I had to go back and re view the census-thousand sorries-I got alexander's dob wrong SINEADXXX

My Great grandparents would each have only been about 3 years old in 1881. Their names were ANDREW EDDIE MARGARET A CLAPHAM They came from Melrose. Any information on possible families would be of interest as little is known on this side of the family. regards Bridie Heath

Hello Ellen Could you please look for a Duncan MacCallum born in Glenorchy and Inishail in 1805 wife Janet (may be dead) He died a while later in Lochgoilhead so may be in that area. I have looked my self and cannot find him so if you cant either dont worry He is not the one living with a wife half his age (catherine I believe) Bit of a challenge really many thanks jamie
