Stepson: Samuel Wright b:1862 Ash Shropshire Stepdaughter: Ann Wright b;1865 Wrenbury cheshire. I am looking for Sarah's maiden name. I'm assuming Wright is her Ex Husbands surname???? Is there any way you can find out for me? there are other children on 1881 census named Evans. Any info re: Sarah or James Maiden name/siblings/parents would be great. Many thanxs Lesley :~) |

Hi Stephen Hope this reaches your thread today. I have tried to find the following on Freebdm but no luck. I have trawled 1859/60/61 but unless I have overlooked him then he is not recorded during that period. Freebdm for 1858 only covers September qtr, P/Z, so can't search there, so if you have access to BDMs other than Freebdm, could you look for the following particularly in 1858: Arthur DEE, born Lambeth, Surrey, aged 2 in the 1861 cen., living/visiting with grandad Dennis DUGGAN and family at 9 West Lane, Rotherhithe, Surrey. I have been told that he and Dennis Duggan are not on the 1871 census, whether a further check would show otherwise is anybody's guess. Arthur is still living with grandad in the 1881 census at 48 Marigold St., Bermondsey, Surrey. I'm want to get a birth cert. for Arthur so really hope that you can turn him up. Regards Rita |

Hi Steve sorry its me again. Is there any chance you can find any info on the following 2 people i am having a hard time with them. Reginald Charles Taylor born anytime between 1895 - 1916 married Daisy May Humphreys born around the same time not sure where they were born we think it was Essex but there is someone saying Reginald may have been born in Ipswich so either of those. They went on to live in Earls Colne Essex so this could be where they got married althought they probably got married after 1911 so you wont find their marriage but birth dates and place would be great to know. It is my grandfathers side of the family and he passed away in 91 so there isnt anyone to get info from as he lost touch with his 2 brothers when they were all put into a home. If you could find anything i would be most grateful. I found in the 1901 census a Daisy born 1899 in Tendring Essex but not sure if this is her. I look forward to hearing from you thanks so much |

Thanks Steve, That's definately John, Alice Ada Brown was one of the names I had, a big thankyou for that. As for Margaret when I put her details in the bmd the only other name on the page was Carr Robson, so Idon't know what to think on that one. You're a saint Steve, thanks Paula. |

Sorry Steve, Boyd was Margarets maiden name. She married Carr Robson in 1884 so she should be Robson on the 1991 census. John Nuttall Boyd was her brother, I have 3 womens names married the same date as him in 1890, so need a look up on the census to see which one he married. Sorry I didn't put it very clearly. Thanks Paula. |

Hi Stephen - If you have access to BMD records other than Freebmd could you look for birth details of the following. Arthur DEE, age 2 on the 1861 census, was with grandad Dennis Duggan at 9 West Lane, Rotherhithe Surrey. Arthur was born in Lambeth, Surrey, He is not apparently on the 1871 census but turns up on the 1881, still with grandad at 48 Marigold Street, Bermondsey, Surrey. On Freebmd I have looked through births 1859/60/61 but unless I have overlooked him then zilch results. I cannot access 1858 records as only September quarter PtoZ is available. Over to you. Thanks. Hi Stephen - If your access to BMD records is other then Freebmd could you please check for - Arthur DEE, born Lambeth, Surrey, aged 2 in the 1861 census. at 8 West Lane, Rotherhithe, Surrey. He is not apparently on the 1871 census but shows up on the 1881. I assume his father was DEE, his mother's maiden name was probably DUGGAN. I have tried 1859/60/61 on freebmd but no luck unless I have overlooked the entry BUT only September PtoZ is available so can't check the records for 1858. Over to you. Thanks in advance. Rita |
