Hi Steve If you have time, a little bit of help would be really great. 1891 Census Mary Ann ROWLES born Bethnal Green Middlesex in 1868 and her husband George ROWLES (not sure when or where he was born) We think they were living in the Bethnal Green area of London. Also Francis and Ann WELCH. Both born abt 1827 Bethnal Green, and shoud be living there in 1891 (that is if they have not died). Thanks Carole

Hi Steve, Thanks for the kind offer On the 1861 census for London I am looking for any of the following HOUGHTON family. They should be in the London City area. They moved around an awful lot but never very far. For 1861 they should be; Henry HOUGHTON, 43, carpenter/box maker, born Bethnal Green Ann HOUGHTON, 37, born Bishopsgate Ann HOUGHTON, 16, Louisa HOUGHTON, 14, Elizabeth HOUGHTON, 12 Sarah HOUGHTON, 10/11 Henry HOUGHTON, 8/9 William HOUGHTON , 3 Amelia HOUGHTON, 1 Most children born Cripplegate or City of London. On 1851 census family in Monkwell Street and in 1871 Phillips Court.(Both addresses checked for 1861 and not found there) When a further child Matilda was born in October 1861 Henry was said to be a Box maker and the family were living at 15, Princes Street, Spitalfields. Could you let me know who was living at 15, Princes Street, Spitalfields in 1861 as there may be a family connection even if my family are not there? Many thanks for looking. Rose

Hi Steve, Just as an afterthought could you look in 1891 for the surname Rago [male] born Italy just to try and find the missing father of James` wife, we might just find him and James Frost together! Just a wild thought. Pat.

The last thread was getting a bit out of hand and difficult to keep up with. If you would like a lookup from any of the resources above, please give me as much detail as you can and I will endeavour to find what I can. Please don't message me with requests, add them to this thread, I can keep track of where I am this way. PRIVATE MESSAGES WILL BE IGNORED. Sorry to shout, but I don't think people have noticed this bit. Cheers Steve NOW CLOSED - SEE NEW THREAD
