If James married in 1917 and was born in 1871 that makes him 46 when he got married Is that right? |

Hi Lou, I am not sure when Henry Andrew died but was not alive on James marriage cert in 1917. I have been told that James went to sea at 13 around the time his father died which would have been about 1884. James died in 1948. Thanks this is a real puzzle to me Zoe :)) |

Hi, I am looking for a Henry Andrew Hawkins, I am not sure of his birth year but he has a son James who was born in 1871. He was his youngest son I think so I am guessing he was born around 1841 ish. James married and died in Sheffield but I have been told that James went to sea at the age of 13, possibly from Strood/ StroudI know I am doing a lot of guessing but this is all I have from James marriage cert in 1917. Any help would be much appreciated as I am really really stuck Thanks Zoe :) |
