Hi Mary I'm trying to find the death of Rev. John Benn of Faringdon, in Hampshire. He was still around in 1857 but might have died that year. would be everso grateful. thanks Trish

Hi Mary, On the 1861 census is he a servant, if he is I have that one but thanks. I really need to have his mother as without that I can't go any further. I don't know where or when she was born. Paula.

ANN LIBBY Hi Ann, sorry unclear what you want do you have mr Willey on any earlier census records. ie do you know his parents. also unless you know who he married and names of any of his children then it is really not possible to search. if he was born in 1891. he would not be elegible to marry until after 1901 census and census records after that have not been released yet. I can look for him before that time Mary

PAULA So sorry but without her date of birth to go on or approx year wont be able to find her especially if she is on her own. perhaps some other kind body on here might have the 141 or 1851 census for Northumberland and maybe they can find Isabella and her son together. sorry once again Mary

Hi Mary could you look up please William James Brownley and his wife Caroline Brownley born 1804 london, they both died in early 1880's. So it would be in the early census. Many thanks Rod

Ellen Willey Born c1856 Sheffield Head of Household Edith A Willey born c1896 Sheffield Daughter Ethel M Willey born c1884 Sheffield Daughter George R Willey born c1880 Sheffield Son Mabel H Willey born c1897 Sheffield Daughter Thomas J Willey born c1892 Sheffield Son I looked on 1891 to check this family and found that the fathers name was George Willey a Foreman at Steelworks born Pemberton Yorkshire Dont know if this will help Mary

RODERIC Do you know roughly when they died if it was before 1861 then I will not be able to find them on Census records as I dont have access to earlier than that, but if you have an Idea I can check on deaths Mary

RODERIC Hi just had a look and found this 1861 Census James Brownley Born 1792 Head Licensed Victular Caroline Brownley B c1805 Wife Rebecca F Glenower Born c1842 Neice Ellen Green Born c1843 Oxford Servant Living Lambeth Surrey 1881 Caroline Brownley born c1805 age 76 Aunt in Law Rebecca Crower age 65 Mother in Law Rebecca F Davison Sister in Law age 39 Thomas Rigg Mullett age 49 Stock Clerk Head Sophia S Mullett age 45 Wife Mildred F Mullett age 19 Daughter Rebecca E Mullet age 16 Daughter Occ Dom Serv Nurse Caroline Mullett age 12 Daughter Dom Serv Nurse Leonard W Mullett age 11 Son Grace L Mullett age 1 Daughter Living 8 Smee road, Bow. Hi Mary An update on my enquiry; John Benn was 85 in 1851; he was vicar at Faringdon from 1797 to 1857 - I've now found his death on 1837. However if you could look on 1861 for me and see what other Benn's were in Faringdon and Chawton, I'd much appreciate the help. Apparently he and his wife might have had up to 13 children. anything you can find much appreciated. cheers Trish

Hi Mary, James Boutell was born in 1875 Essex? Siblings Florence born 1902, Ida 1904, Walter 1906, Daisy 1911, Leonard 1916, Married Hannah Payne in December 1899 in Tendring Essex. hope this might help to find James's dob and parents names. Thanks sharon
