Hi Lorraine, Could you please look on 1841 census for Ann Page b. 1829/30 in Gt. Yarmouth. I think her mother was also called Ann not sure of father's name. I found her on 1861 census by which time she was married. Many thanks, Gloria

Hi Lorraine I'm looking for a family in Chard in Somerset name of HUTCHIN(G)S In 1871 Virginia (now Jenkins) plus son Charles HUTCHINS - was living with new hubbie James at Silver Street, Chard. Virginia born 1833 in Hawkchurch. Charles born 1858 in Chard. In 1861 Virginia was living with two illegitimate children (I am fairly sure they are illegitimate) and her mother in Mill Lane, Chard. Virginia was unmarried, b. 1834 in Hawkchurch. George (son) b. 1853 (and working so the family were probably really poor) and Charles b.1858. Virginia's mother is Sarah HUTCHINGS widow, age 52 (B. 1809) in Hawkchurch and is a washerwoman. In 1851 we have Sarah HUTCHINS widower age 49 (?) b. in Hawkchurch, charwoman. [49 may have been a mistranscription for 42?] Virginia is 17 and a seamstress - b. Hawkchurch. Theye are in Silver Street again. I realise it's a bit of a long shot that they were in Chard in 1841 but it's a chance. To find out who Virginia's father was would be a real bonus - so here's hoping. (It's possible that they were in Hawkchurch I suppose but I'll cross any other bridges when I come to them.) Any help much appreciated. Thank you very much Jill

I am fairly certain that Virginia's two children were illegitimate and they all lived with Virginia's mother, so I wonder if mother/Sarah was the same ... interesting. Yes, it helps. Hi Lorraine I am looking for the family of Robert Bullock born 1809 Norfolk. His wife was a Mary Dow and they married 13.10.1830. I know they had at least one son Benjamin Dow Bullock born 8.1834 at Hemsby (district Flegg) near Caistor and Yarmouth. Any info would help. Regards Jenny
