Hi Lyla thank you for looking for my Eliza Laplind and William Bailey. It was kind of you and much appreciated. Its confirmed Eliza but not sure about William, will have to wait for 1841 to come on Ancestry to know definately. Best wishes Teresa |

Teresa, 23/4/1837 William's address was New Inn Broadway and his father John was a Weaver, he was born 27/3/1837 27/4/1858 Eliza's address was 27 Austin Street and father Joseph was a Policeman. Her birth date was definately written as 1/3/1837 Michael, 23/7/1854 Joseph and Thomas were living at 12 Cottage Place, Thomas Street father Joseph was a wire worker, both born 29/6/1854 In the margin is a note that says 'Twins, the elder by 4 hours'. Elaine 27/10/1793 Thomas was a widower, Ann a widow, both of the parish and married after banns. The witnesses were June Tompson and George Limming. That's all the information you get before 1837. Please note that George Limming was a serial witness of the parish! Barbara 8/12/1839 Married after banns bachelor/spinster, full age, of this parish, address for both 454 Charing Cross. Richard was a Pork Butcher, his father was William (**see below) Exall, Coach Carriage Maker, Elizabeth's father was Samuel Carver, Draftsman. Witnesses were Sarah Carver and William Weller **there was a middle name but I really couldn't decipher it - sorry. clerk or deck or similar Hi Heather I'm still here, I've just been a bit busy . Hello Lyla, Whenever possible, could you please look up a marriage for me: 8 December 1839 St. Bride's, Fleet Street. Elizabeth Margaret Carver and Richard Exall. Hello again Lyla, can you please have a look at the birth or baptism rcords for Joseph Daniels b 29-6-1854 and Christened 23-7-1854 and his twin brother Thomas they were christened at St. Leonards Shoreditch their parents were Joseph and Phoebe, I cant find them on BMD and wondered if you can find anything any other information on them to help in my search. Hi Shirley Yes he was a widower! Henry, widower, full age, dock officer of Goldsmiths Row, father Thomas Simpson, Tavern Keeper Susannah, spinster, full age of Gloster Street, father Samuel Glover, Jeweller Married by license in presence of George Yarrow and Elizabeth Wrigglesworth (both parish serial witnesses I'm afraid!) Please could you check out a marriage for me that took place on 7th Dec 1842 between Henry Simpson and Susannah Glover - St Leonards Shoreditch. The death of Caroline Anne Simpson around the same time. I am hoping that Henry was a widower. Many thanks Shirley |

Hi Michael I'm really hopeless at reading old writing - sorry The details are that William Goodyear, bachelor married Emma Ewington (could have been Ervington or Exington or similar?), spinster by banns on 26/12/1812 Winesses were Ro Webb and Sam Fexham (could be Feecham or similar?) Danielle, I searched Feb 1858 - Feb 1860 St Andrews Holborn but there were no Daly baptisms at all, Sorry Michael, Sarah Elizabeth was the daughter of William & Emma Goodyear of Somerset Street. He was a (what looked like) cook founder (?) Lyla |

Hi Lyla Wonder if you get the chance could you lookup the birth/baptism of brothers Daniel Joseph Daly and John Phillip Daly born in the parish of St Andrews Holborn in 1858 -1859 . They are the sons of Daniel Daly and Ellen Crowley. On FreeBMD and 1837 I have not been able to find their births but have determined the approx year of birth from the 1861 census.
