Hi Laura Thanks for such a speedy response. So are you saying that Thomas Morley and Mary Macro were married to each other or do they just appear on the same page of the register ? Also what did you mean by not being sure about what appeared next to his name ? The Thomas Littell Bridge bit ? Sorry to be a pain. It sounds as if I should just request Thomas Morley's marriage certificate and pretend I don't know who he married I think ! Thanks Graeme

Laura, Apologies I think I must have got the wrong info as I was looking at the place she lived and not the place she was born. The info I needed was actually for Alice born in Camberwell so I imagine that must be Bermondsey, therefore please can you give me further info on: Alice Harwood abt 1870 Bermondsey, Surrey, England Daughter Bermondsey London (in 1871 / 1881) Also Ann Barwick was born in Gilling, richmond Yorkshire. Hi Laura I have a bit of a puzzler from BMD. From other sources I was fairly sure that a Thomas Morley and a Mary Macro married in the district of Sudbury Suffolk in 1838 (Dec Qtr I think) (probably in village Cavendish but possibly Feltwell in Norfolk). When I asked for the certificate BMD wouldn't send me it as they said the 2 I had named did not marry each other. Is it easy to check who Thomas Morley did marry without me requesting the certificate ? Thanks Graeme
