Hi Sally Sorry I read my message back and it was a bit confusing wasn't it. Thomas Copperwheat married Jane Nicholls in 1877 but in 1881 they with their own parents seperately. Thomas with his parents John and Susan Copperwheat and Jane with her parents Charles and Hannah Nichols. Why they were not together I don't know as they were definitely married. Maybe they were just visiting. Thats why I wanted to check on the 1891 and 1901 census as I know for sure that Thomas was not with his parents. I hope that made more sense. Belle this is a difficult one have found a marriage of a Samuel Artus to a Charlotte walkiden June 1873 lambeth surrey vol 1d page 534 then can only find one in 1901 census 1901 Samuel Artus 48 house painter walworth surrey agnes wife 32 clerkenwell Percy son 8 arsley beds samuel son 4 southwark living lambeth what do you make of this? ______________ Emma I too have found on 1881 thomas and Jane copperwheat with different parents. also found a thomas married to a Elizabeth gutteridge. Not sure what I am looking for. Were they a couple??? __________

Hi Sally Can I ask for a lookup please. I am looking for Thomas aand Jane Copperwheat on the 1891 and 1901 census. They were living in Marston, Bedfordshire in 1881. Thomas was born 1858 in Marston, Bedfordshire and Jane was born 1860 also Marston, Bedfordshie.They had no children in 1881 so that is all the info I have at the moment although in 1881 they were not on the same census page, Thomas was with his parents and Jane was with hers but I know that Thomas is not with them in 1901. I don't have the 1891 census for his parents so I can't be sure. Thanks again, Emma

Hi hope you can help me. I am trying to find any information about the family of Benjamin Grimmer born in Norfolk c1844. I have found him in later years so i am interested in the 1851. His birth place has been put down as various spellings such as Swart, Lwaite/ Twaite. Sorry not to be more precise but that is all i know apart from the fact he moved around alot when he was older as he was a fisherman. Many thanks Lynda
