Hiya would you please look up Horace Jones born at Hill Top West Bromwich in November 1902. His parents were William and Jane Jones. Horace married Elsie May Smith in 1924 and in May 1924 they had a boy called Henry Arthur. They also had a son Norman in about 1925 and daughter Betty in 1926. Horace died in November 1980 and he is buried in Wednesbury cemetry. your help will be much appreciated.

Hi Nikki, Thanks for the list of LINDONS etc. No, I haven't found William on the 1861 census. In fact I haven't been able to find him anywhere. All I know about him is that he married in Liverpool in 1882, he was a mariner and must have been at sea when the censuses were taken. Rumour has it that he went to America because I can't find his death here. His father was John Lindon, glassblower. I haven't been able to find him either. I am well and truly stuck on this line and was hoping the WJ Linden I found in the crew list was mine, hence my asking you for the look up. Carol Not sure how I can help with Florence Pocock - the Ancestry information only covers census returns for 1861 - 1901, birth records only go up to about 1910 or so. If you're looking for her parents/siblings your best bet is to use the 1837 on line site which would show her birth record allowing you to get her birth certificate & therefore find her parents. You could then start looking at census returns. Hope this helps Nikki
