Dear Angie, Can you please do a couple of look ups on the 61 cen please for Staffordshire. I am looking for a Jane and William Eardley or Yardley. There should be two sets, one in Keele and the other in gnosall. The name is changeable for some unknown reason and to confuse things more, they should all be about 60. I need to know where they were born to sort them out on my tree. Many thanks Julie

Julie I've only come across one name Yardley but it was on the 1871 census no good to you though the birth year was 1857,theywere living in gnosall.I will post details but as I say I don't think its the one you want.Will .check other name again.
