they probly shorten it to jose as in 1864 jose rathbone mellor was samuel furnivall mellors father but i dont think we want to go there as it will only get more confusing,and your right abot the 1893 marriage as his father was married in the same place in 1864

Joyce The information the Jess has given to you IS YOUR FAMILY, everything about it ties together with the information you have given, even to the extent of giving you the first Ada on the census plus her death, the the birth of the second Ada. How much more do you need to convince you the THIS IS YOUR FAMILY. What is it that does not seem to fit together???? Victor

hi victor i do know that the family from walton on the hill are mine,and the the ones who lived in buchanan rd,they are my grandparents as i use to visit them when i was young ,and i have both of there death certs,the problem for me was i couldnt get my grandmothers birth cert,and if i remember you looked for me she was suppose come from manchester.but we couldnt find here.ada mary bassindale.as jess give me my mums birth date.but i already have it and she was born 12 march 1908-at 32 sandon road walton.liverpool,i just wondered .would her mum and dad been on the census there or was it to early,samuel and ada mary mellor.i think looking for my nan ill give it up ,thank you for all your help and time sorry to be so irrating.have anice weekend.joyce
