Hi Laura, Would you be able to find this family on the 1881 census please, as I can't find them on the familysearch site. They should be in Saxlingham, Norfolk. Arnold Crane b. 1858 Haverland, Norfolk ( in 1891 it says Harelett ) Martha b. 1850 Saxlingham (wife) Benjamin b. 1874 Saxlingham Mary b. 1878 Saxlingham Regards Mary |

Hello laura Could you please look on 1891 and 1901 for JAMES WILLIAM RIDLEY born 1879/80 in Newcastle area. Have his marriage cert in 1907 lists him as 27 and a miner. Obviously as I have discovered the Ridleys are like Smiths in this area. His Father was a coal miner called JOSEPH RIDLEY Thanks Deborah (nee Ridley) |
