Hi Donna My husband's 3x Great Gran was Euphemia Philp, her parents were John Philp and Helen Birrell, siblings were George, William, Ann, Helen, John and Thomas. She later married George Paterson who was also from that area. His parents were John Paterson and Grace McEwan who were married in Kinglassie. Euphemia and George stayed in the Fife area and had their children there, so you never know there might be a connection!! Dawn :-) |

Hi Dawn, Thanks for all the information. I didn't expect you to go to so much effort. I was looking for a marriage and children for James and John but forgot to mention that. Sorry. Is the marriage for John and Susan only a possibility or does your information give the grooms parents as well? Thanks again, David |

Dawn, any chance you can help me, I'm tearing my hair out lol Can you find, in Glasgow, the birth or baptism of Thomas E Redhead? Should be about 1852. Parents are Thomas Redhead and Elizabeth Speck. If you can, I also have a couple more, but I don't know where they were born. Can you do those? looking at 1850-1855. |

MARGARET @ LINDSAY, CANADA Hi Margaret Sorry I couldn't find anything to that fit with the info you gave me for James, Annie or Robert and Martha. Do you have any other info on Robert besides that he was born around 1835? As I cam back with loads of Roberts. Do you have an idea which area he was born in or anything else that might cut it down a bit? Then I'll have another look for you. Dawn :-) |

Sorry I couldn't help more. Thanks Dawn :) You wouldn't have been able to find Thomas and Elizabeth as they married in England. The others I have are Thomas and Elizabeth Liversedge. Thomas was born about 1853 and Elizabeth about 1854. They are children or Richard and Maria(o)n. She was Scottish, but I can't find their marriage either. Perhaps you can find them too? Thomas was the oldest child. They moved back to England after Elizabeth was born. |

Hi Dawn , Thank-you so much for all your help. Your a real gem . I think It could be the one that was born in Kilrenny, Fife . Because she did name their second daughter Mary . Which would follow naming patterns. I forgot that in 1851 census it said that a Margaret Brown sister in law, 13, Flax spinner, Kinghorn, Fife Did they have a daughter named Margaret .Sorry I should of mentioned it before . What do you think, could it be a match ? I'm just new a this . Best wishes Donna |

Dawn, thanks for trying. Unfortunately, the only mention I have of Robert at all is on his son's birth certificate of June 4, 1855 -- Robert Hamilton, Boiler Maker, age 20 years, born Glasgow. |
