Hi Dawn, I would appreciate you looking for the baptism of : WILLIAM JOHN LINDON (Linden, Lyndon etc.) born 1850's, father JOHN. I can't find his birth in England or Wales so I'm hoping he is Scottish! Many thanks, Lilian

Hi Dawn Can you please look up and see if you can find Elizabeth Young, she was born about 1778 in Berwick Upon Tweed. Birthplace details were obtained from 1851 census, I regret I have no other info. Regards Christina

JENNIFER CLARKE Hi Jennifer I have found David and Margaret's marriage and it came up the same as what you've already got. But it didn't have anything about either of their parents. Do you know where either of them where born? Then I could try and have a look for their births/christenings for you. Did have a look but came up with a number of possibilities. When looking for their children, I could only find one couple with the same names and they had their children in Kilmarnock, Ayr 1826-1848. So probably not yours. I too found the James Bayne in Campsie JAMES BAYNE b 18 Feb 1802 Campsie, Stirling Father ALEXANDER BAYNE, Mother ISOBELA DRUMMOND But nothing for a James born in Lennoxtown, Dunbarton. If he turns out to be yours, I've also found his parent's marriage and his brothers and sisters. Hope that you'll be able to find out if he's yours or not. He seems very possible. You have confirmed to me that James Galbraith & Janet Jamieson were the parents of Alexander Galbraith. I was wondering if you think the James Galbraith bn 1793 Greenlaw could possibly be the JAmes Galbraith who married Janet Jamieson bn 1800 . The James that you previously mentioned was born in 1806 making him 18 years old when he married, and his wife Janet Jamieson 24 years old. Hi Dawn could you see if you can find anything on a birth /marriage Robert Sibbald born 1830/31 and Margaret Chambers born 1844ish. I believe they were married in the early 1850s and think they came from the Berwickshire area Thanks Deborah

SEAN FANNIN Hi again Lyn I'd say that the 1793 James and the 1800 James are two different people. As for the 1806 James, it's very possible for him to be married at 18. I think girls could marry at either 12 or 14 and boys at 16 but don't quote me on that. Hope you figure it out soon. Dawn :-)
