Margaret I looked up he PULLAR family for another Margaret the other day and found all this out not sure if you are the same one although you surnames are different so i dont know. What exactly do you want me to look up?? you have marriages, do you want me to check which ones are the correct ones fro the ones you have double marriages for? Sorry i am a bit confused!! xx

Hi Claire, Sorry for the confusion. Yes you did look up the Pullar marriages for me the other day. You found the date, place, and all the marriages on that page, so there was no way of telling which male each girl was married to. I thought that a later census would comfirm which one, and who else was in the house at the time. Sorry I didn't make myself clearer. I was using the Library computer and my time was running out , so I was rushed. Hope I'm not getting you too upset, I am quite new at this and sure I am a nusiance at times. My apologies. Margaret

ok Carol found her but she was born 1816c living Toxteth Park, Lancashire Alice Brogden abt 1849 Dover, England DAUGHTER¨ Ann Brogden abt 1816 East Indies WIFE John Brogden abt 1846 Canada, United States SON Joseph Brogden abt 1854 Liverpool, Lancashire SON Hope this helps They certainly liked to travel around did they. xx

Margaret i cannot find any of them anywhere later in life. The only thing i found that looks a bit hopeful is a Sarah Kemp (born Asthon Lancashire 1853c) in 1881 as the HEAD with a daughter Elizabeth who was born in 1879. It is possible the husband died. What do you think? I know that is a long shot but that is the only positive finding i am having for the moment so thought i would run it by you. I am so sorry xx

Hi Claire Could you please look for James Brady Jnr in the 1891 census. I have him in 1871 living at 18 Chapel Road, St Mary's, Nottingham. The household were:- James Brady 52 Labourer born Ireland Elizabeth Brady 48 wife born Ireland James Brady 17 Bricklayers Labourer born Nottingham Mary Brady 11 Cotton Winder born Nottingham. James Brady Snr died in 1878 and Elizabeth Brady was living with her daughter Mary Burton (nee Brady) at 15 Patriot Street, Nottingham in 1881 (she died in 1883). So far I can't find James Jnr in 1881. To complicate matters there is a James Brady s/o William and Mary born Sept 1851, Nottingham whereas my James Brady was born May 1853, Nottingham, s/o James and Elizabeth, both were baptised at St Barnabas R C Church, Notts and in 1861 the two families were living next door to one another so I believe they are related. Of course I have found this other James Brady in 1881 living with his brother William. My James Brady married Mary Leighton in 1898 at Nottingham RO but he was a widower so he could have been married to someone else in 1881/1891. I know it is very complicated but anything you may find would be greatly appreciated. Regards. Chris.

Hello Claire, I haven't had much luck trying to find Annie Maria Richardson DOB 1860 Richmond,Surrey in the 1891 census, (on the 1881 she was down as Maria her middle name.) I have her with her family 1861-1881. Missing on 1891 then in 1901 she is married I have her with her husband in Richmond. Chances are she is in Richmond working as a domestic servant. She had her daughter Mildred Florence Richardson in 1890 in Brentford she was living at 1 Tolson Road,Brentford at that time. But mysteriously Mildred Florence was living as a boarder aged 4 months in 1891at 3 Holy Trinity Cottages,Richmond,Surrey, no sign of Annie Maria!!! I'm sure she can't be too far away. Wow Christine i dont think he wants to be found. I found a James in 1901 born 1854c but was married t Elizabeth!! Are you 100 percent sure he was born in Nottinghamshire and not Ireland like his parents? There are alot of James' born Ireland and i have found one on the 1901 census married to a Mary???? What do you think? Would you like to see the info of the one born in Ireland?? xx
