Hi Lesley, Many thanks for the Thomas Chapman marriage. I am certain it is him (right date, connection to Shepperton parish). Presumably bride was a young widow. Thank you so much for your help. I had been puzzled by that one for some time! All the best, Jeff |

Hi Lesley, Thank you for looking for the marriage of Thomas and Jane BENN. I knew it was a long shot, but did not know what to expect of Pallots. Please could you have a look for any of the following 3 marriages; Thomas CHAPMAN to Martha SPENCER married 1785-1788 Thomas ACTON to Mary circa 1790 George ACTON to ? in Hammersmith area, 1780s/ 1790s The first two are quite specific, but obviously abandon the search if I am asking too much. yes I have got the George family in 1881 - they are living at 38 Rathbone St; NEWTON IN MAKERFIELD - LANCASHIRE. Census shows William George 60; Ellen George 60 ; Thomas George 27; Sarah Davenport nee George 24; Rose Cleworth 9; Mary 6 ( Mary was Sarahs illegitimate daughter). I think William George and Ellen Platt got married in 1844 Does this help? |
