I think you'll find that with a start date of 0001, he or she is no longer on GR's records.

I realise this thread was 10 years ago but for more information on these families see the newspaper accounts of Ansdell v Gompertz trial in Exeter March 1837.

William had Slade as his third forename..............maybe they ran out of space when writing in all those names.........lol Rosemary

The only other thing that is nagging me .. is where on earth does 'Slade' come into it !! suppose I will bump into the name further back ! William married Betsey Pine in November 1815 .. before the first child was born ... so I'm intrigued as to why the children would go under the name 'Slade' rather than 'Hewell/Howell' ... I'm curious as to why they are dying with the surname Slade ...... I bet these are cousins ... or if not the actual people themselves, they will be related. !
