Thanks - yes it is him - I am sure - but as he got married to a woman who already had children - can you give me the other occupants names This will then confirm its him. I hope that this is not too arduous a task. The 1881 census has him living with his Step children but the names are unclear so hopefully this will clarify Thanks

Hi again Lesley, I wonder if you could look up one more for me please. I have HANNAH PELL (or PEELS) married Thomas Knights 30th Jan 1817 Westerfield church St. Margaret , IPSWICH. I have her parents PETER PELL & Elizabeth . Would you be able to see if you have a marriage for them please. Hannah was born Ipswich in 1797 so her parents may have been married sometime after 1780 (depending how many children they had). It's getting a bit late now, so please don't look until another day.
