Hi Lesley Could you please check the baptisms in London for a James White born c1831. His father was James White, occupation Shipwright. I have found a James White in the Poplar area who was a shipsmith, but haven't been able to make a connection. James (1831) came to Australia about 1857, so I haven't been able to find him on a census. Also Edward Wells c1836 if Southwark is covered. His father was John Wells, Occ Painter Thanks April

Occupation Coal Whipper On the 1851 census living 23 King Street Courts, Wife Bridget – age 35 – born Ireland Son Richard - age and occupation, birthplace unreadable. Hello again Lesley Could I possibly ask you for another search (maybe two) please!? I'm looking for information on my great grandmothers parents and their siblings. My great grandmother is Elizabeth Huxley, born 1881 in Nantwich, died 1953. Her mothers name was Sarah Jane Hilditch (I think, writing on the birth certificate of the surname is a bit difficult to read), born c1857. Her father was Thomas Huxley born c1852.
