Hi Lesley, this is a bit of a long shot. I went to Bury St Edmunds record office yesterday and couldn't find what I was looking for. I haven't heard of 'Pallots'.( but I'm not yet very experienced!!) But maybe in the Baptisms you could possibly look up 2 names for me. I've been trying for ages to go back further on these. BOTH IN SUFFOLK 1) Thomas Knights born 1781 (one of 3 places, Ipswich, Ashbocking or Whitton) I'm trying to find his birthplace & his parents 2) ROBERT RICHER born1807 in Bradfield St George, Bradfield St Clare or Bradfield Combust. Hi again Lesley, I wonder if you could look up one more for me please. I have HANNAH PELL (or PEELS) married Thomas Knights 30th Jan 1817 Westerfield church St. Margaret , IPSWICH. I have her parents PETER PELL & Elizabeth . Would you be able to see if you have a marriage for them please. Hannah was born Ipswich in 1797 so her parents may have been married sometime after 1780 (depending how many children they had). It's getting a bit late now, so please don't look until another day. Thanks - yes it is him - I am sure - but as he got married to a woman who already had children - can you give me the other occupants names This will then confirm its him. I hope that this is not too arduous a task. The 1881 census has him living with his Step children but the names are unclear so hopefully this will clarify Thanks
