STEVEN This is Richards Marriage Name: Slater, Margaret Name: WINSTANLEY, Richard Record Type: Marriages Quarter: March Year: 1868 District: Chorley County: Lancashire Volume: 8e Page: 598 If you check on the message RE:his birth in 1838 Chorley... Leyland comes under the same district...says Leyland for him on new 1871 census. Lesley :~) |

Hi Lesley, That looks like them because in the 1881 Census John has Birkenhead as his birth place and they are in Birken head on this 1871 Census. Cheers for that. Just to check something was ‘John Robt Winstanley abt 1869 Penwortham, Lancashire, England Son ‘ his eldest son Robert? I will be back next week pestering you to check out the 1861 for Richard ;-) Thanks again Regards Steve |

STEVEN yes its the same Robert/John Robert b:1869 Sometimes if people have a middle name you will find different census's using either of the names as their name they put down. Lesley :~) |

Hi Lesley. I am seeking BMD info' as follows: Marriage data of Samuel Stuart b. 1877 Birmingham, Warwickshire and Martha Ann Bailey b. 1878 Wednesbury, Staffs. I believe year of marriage was 1902 as he was unmarried in 1901 and first child was born 1903. Date of Death for Samuel. He is buried in St Ann's Parish Church cemetery , Chasetown, Staffs. Possible year of death 1942. Any info' much appreciated. Regards Ron |
