Frances Sarah Lundie Chamberlain, b1835 Brighton, Sussex and parents Elizabeth Chamberlain b abt 1810 Bridport,Dorset John Chamberlain age and birthplace unknown. In 1851 I have Frances L Chamberlain 16years,officers daughter at school at 6 Canterbury Place, Islington, London.No sign of parents as yet. By 1861 Elizabeth is a widow visiting the now married Frances. Thank you Lea in Oz

Steve, it's a bit of a puzzle. Where did you get his date of birth from? I found some born in the London area, but they all have middle names. Did yours?

Keeley, I think this is his birth... Birth Dec 1913 Lewis Ernest mother - Jump Wrexham 11b 486 If you order the cert, it will tell you his parents' names. I can't find any Jumps in Wales, so I think she was from Lancashire.

Hi Tracy I've been trying to find gg grandad for ages. I have the family on the 1861 onwards but he dose'nt appear anywhere. The family name is Stephenson 1861....Plaistow Essex ANN ABT 1829 SHIELDS N'UMBERLAND ROBERT 1849 PLAISTOW (g grandad) ISABELLA 1854 '' WALTER 1857 '' MARGARET 1859 '' By 1871 family moved back up North. I think his name was Walter but until sure and place of birth ect have hit a brick wall. Best Wishes Sue P.S. Am quite new to all of this.
