well am back so soon :) just a few questions regarding the information you have given me, Ellen Hayes 1875 was her maiden name O'Brien by any chance? And Goerge Cuthbert 1876, who was he in relation to Charles? I cant seem to figure that one out. Thanks Keeley

KEELEY No Sorry Ellen is not O'Brian well I cant find a marriage for her to Thomas Hayes anyway...:~( But Ancestry isnt complete anyway.. but I have also looked on Free bmd and cant find her with him either..I will have another look around and get back to you. KEELEY Im So sorry but I cant find anything for Thomas c1833 & Mary c1834 or for Thomas & Ellen.... They must be around somewhere.... There is a thread on 'Tips Board' titled 'Come on then1837 be gentle' or something similar. It might be worth asking them if they still have credit if they can look it up for you.... Hi, Lesley. Thankyou so much for the info! It's very much appreciated! Florence Watkinson/Kent died in 1923 so i guess having her down as Sarah on 1901 cencus is a mistranscription. It has to be the right family, as my Nan said Her Grandfather (thomas Kent b c1856) worked on the boats, and I know Ellen Olive Kent was born in 1900. So, I take it Charles Kent was actually William Charles? No wonder i couldn't find his birth?! Thank's again Lesley! All the best, Gaynor.

Lesley, Thanks for the offer... please could you do a search for a marriage record: John BATE born abt 1831 (Newton, Lancs) Martha CASE born abt 1837 (Sankey, Lancs) Both Newton and Sankey are near Warrington (now Cheshire) Their first child was born in Widnes abt 1865 so I would think they married in or around the Warrington/Widnes areas. David first married Rose Matilda Sherringham in Shoreditch 1895, Rose died Nov 1900 .Found this one ..
