Hello Lorraine, I am trying to sort out Bissell ancestors in Evesham and would be grateful for any info. My gggf was born there c1810(Edmund) but I think from 1861 census that there is a William and Dasiah(Dorcia) aged around 40, and there could be a John and Frances of similar age. I am hoping that there could be an older generation there too. I have no idea of the size of Evesham in 1841, but if its not too difficult I would appreciate your 'keeping an eye open' for them. Hello Lorraine, I am wanting to find out more infomation about SARAH MATHEWS b.1834 I have found her in the 1871 census married to John Lewis b.1833 and lists her birth place as Mynyddislwyn, Monmouthshire. And again in the 1881 Census her Birth place is Bedwas, Monmouthshire. I am after info on her parents, brothers/sisters Thanking you in advance :)

Hi Lorraine do you have an index to worcestershire? If so, could you check the following? I have trawled worcester city for Mary Tudge (age 85 in 1851) and only found one possible but she is about 15 years younger than expected. Also she is a servant so I can't check her against known family members. can you spot any others? Also missing in 1841 is Edward Curnock Tudge born 1838 Worcester. He is not with his parents Edward and Caroline. He is not with Edward's only brother George. Perhaps he is with his grandmother Mary (see above). his mother caroline was baptised at Powick, daughter of John and Margaret Curnock. At only 3 years old he must surely be with close family? any sign? thanks, netti x
