Hi, Thanks for your offer. Looking for any information on Peter Divers born c. 1875 , Kent and Bessie Divers (Nee Digby) born c. 1872 Essex. I think they married in Dec quarter 1904, and I know of at least one daughter Mabel Constance Divers born Dec quarter 1904 (Birth cert held). If you can find the parents on the 1901 census (Peter & Bessie) and any further children's births that would be great. I think there was at least one other daughter Hilda, but no other details. Tracy, Thanks for your information. Yes it does look from the 1901 census as if Bessie or Betsy was married before. It doesn't give any indication on her daughters birth certicate in 1904. I can't find a birth for Betsy Divers around 1871 but I can for Betsy Jarvis, who went on to marry Archie Digby in sept quarter 1892. I've found them on 1881 census, but could you kindly look on 1891 and tell me what that one shows please? Details required for 1891 are: Betsy Jarvis born 1871/2 Peter Divers born 1875 Many thanks again in advance of your time and effort. Sarah.

Darren, that's how they appeared on the census. There were no Greatbatches on there. If you know who his parents were, I can look again to see if they were mis-transcribed as something else.
