Lesley Have a couple for you please 1851 census have the Akhurst family from Sheerness I know of James - Head Jane - wife Agnes Jane - daughter Frederick James - Son not sure if any more children. James and Frederick both sailors. Also for London have marriage Licence from Sept 1810 of William Fossett and Jeanette King was for the parish of St Peter within the Tower of London. Any record of that and if possible record of their baptisms would be around 1790 mark. Hope thats enough info dawnie
