Hi Jess Would be most grateful or any help on any census as I've only been able to find them on the 1901 census which is as follows: Herbert Lowe age 41 in London Alice - wife - 40 Gertrude dau 19 Pauline - 17 Herbert - 15 Gordon - 12 Edith 8 Constance - 3 Florence - 10mths. The family have completely disappeared from any previous census! I have checked and included the other spellings of the surname as on Certificates i.e. Loewe, Lorwe and Loeuie! Herbert Lowe jnr as on birth cert is Paul Herbert Loewe, born 1885 in Lewisham, Kent, to parents Paul Herbert Loewe and Alice Jane Hood. They were married on 1 Jan 1881 at Charlton Kent. I only have Paul Herbert jnr in 1891 staying with his grandparents Edmond and Naomi Hood, aged 5 yrs. I can't believe how they have not shown up on any other censuses! Any help, much appreciated! Hi Jess Thanks for the offer. I have Wilfred Cape born 1841 Cockermouth, Cumberland. He is on the 1841 (young baby) and 1851 (10yr old and working) Census with his parent/s (latter as Cope not Cape) in Cockermouth. Try as I have, can't find him on 1861. He turns up married and with children in 1871 in Durham, Northumberland (eldest born c1863 but cannot trace his marriage to Isabella Simpson anytime before/at/after this). He is dead before the 1881 (died 1878 at Maryport Infirmary), at which time his widow and some of the children are in Maryport (turn up as 'Capes' instead of Cape). So, 1861 is my missing link.....have tried various spellings etc with no joy - any help would be very much appreciated.

Hi Jess, could you be an angel and have a look for the following, Charles Artus born 1876, Charlotte born 1878 and Arthur born 1880 all born St Saviour Walworth Southwark/Surrey, I have them and their parents on 1881, their mother dies a few years after this census and their father remarries but i can't find these children at all on any other census.
