Hi Lorraine Thanks for the offer. Could you please look in Erlestoke, Wiltshire for: William LADD born 1778 in Erlestoke and Mary LADD born 1779 in Erlestoke. They were both still alive in 1841 and may have had their sons Charles (b 1819), James (b 1822) and Frederick (b 1829) with them. All their other children were married by 1841. Thanks Liz

Hi Lorraine, Could you possibly look up Redruth, Cornwall for a James Hennessey who I believe was born March 1838. The name has been mispelt an awful lot, as you can imagine, and on the original BC (if it's him!) he was 'Hensty' His father was also James (a travelling hawker) and his mother was Catherine (maiden sur Thomas) Many thanks Geoff Price

Hi Lorraine Thanks for the information re Lavill and Rea. I wonder if you could possibly look for Sarah Lavill age 8, Joseph Lavill aged 6 and James Lavill aged 4 on 1841 Warwickshire census. I have them on 1851 census with Sarah Rea as grandchildren. I was hoping that they were going to be with Richard Lavill on 1841 census. I have Sarah Rea marrying Richard Lavill so assumed Sarah Rea on 1841 and 1851 was mother of Sarah that married Richard Lavill. Now hoping if you can find Sarah, Joseph and James with parents I can make a connection as these names keep appearing in Lavill tree. Thanks in advance Kathryn Thaks in advance

Lorraine, Thankyou for looking for Robert Strange. Still keeping an open mind on him however, I now have a marriage which says he was 33 in 1845 making his age in 1841 about 28! Talk about confusion! Marion

Hi Lorraine, Can you please check the Wiltshire census for a George and Mary Church. They had a son called Michael. George's profession was a Shoemaker. They were living in Salisbury, I think they were born in the 1790's, as they were married in 1817. Many thanks Phil
