Hi Sally, could you search in the 1861 census for William Sharpe (variant). He was born in Tenterden, Kent but should be living in Hackney, London. He should also be 43 years old. Thanks Sam

EPHRAIM WAKEFIELD That's definitely the right people! But the online transcription of St Giles, Rowley Regis has them down as being married on 23/4/1873? Perhaps they needed a new toaster? I was rather hoping Ephraim's family were around in 1861, but I suppose they could be elsewhere...hmmm!

Hi Sally Thanks for your offer. Please could you see if Georgina Davies b 1868 Llangollen, denbighshire. Wales is on the 1871 census, should be brother Shem and sister Elizabeth A. Have got them on 1881 but all living with older sisters, no parents!! Would love to find the family further back as have only just knocked down this brick wall! Best Wishes Kaz
