Hi Lesley Hope you are well! Have just chipped a bit off my brick wall, so please could you see if you can find a death for a John Meredith between 1888 - 93 in Denbighshire Wales. He would be in his twenties. I know its a long shot but would be grateful for any info. He isn't on 1891 census but wife (georgina nee Davies) is not down as widow and I have a marriage for them in 1888. Thanks for all your help so far! Cheers Kaz

Hi Lesley wondering if you can find the births of 2 relatives - John Sutherland - 1844 Houghton Le Spring, Durham, Eng; and - Charles Edward Sutherland 1847 same info as above, Their parents were Alexander Sutherland and Jane Wilson married 1843 at Gateshead Durham. Can you actually see the certificates? I am quite new to this, any information is greatly appreciated, many thanks in advance Sharon

Hi Lesley I'm not sure if that his him or not as only just found him, all I know is he married Georgina Davies (b 1868) just got her maiden name - hooray!) in Denbighshire (district Wrexham) in Jun Qtr of 1888 and is not on 1891 and she remarried in 1893 so presuming he died during that period. There could possibly be a tie in with Shropshire as that's where georgina went after she married for second time. However, I cannot be sure if this is my guy. Cheers for info Kaz

KAZ I have had another look for his death and cant narrow it down.... I have found this possible death for him but it still doesnt help as why we cant find him in 1891. HI Lesley 1851 census was the last time i could find Eliza single,as for knowing husbands surname she was down as informant as sister on her brothers death cert in 1906 surname Scholes. Regards Dallas

DALLAS I have found Eliza on the 1861 as Single Do you want the info?then on 1871 as Married so I did some more searching around and found this on Ancestry. It only has 2 Mens Names BUT 3 Ladies Names So If I was you I would Phone up the appropriate office and ask them to check and see if your ??? Scholes is the third Man Missing....
