hi anne, i previously asked you to search ireland for this lot but they did move to scotland at some stage. so could you please search the scottish 1881 census for james mcalindon born 1874/5 in ireland, parents thomas mcalindon & bridget kelly. i have the 1901 census for james, but i dont know when he came to scotland. i have two kids for him, james in 1897 and alice in 1902 wife mary cairney. thank you anne, regards joanne

Hello Anne, Am hoping you may be able to give me some information on the following bods in 1881(assuming the older ones were still alive & kicking). James Grant born 12/5/1828 in Turriff married (17/6/1848 Turriff) to Elizabeth WIlson 2/1/1828 The son I know about is William born 5/4/1857 again in Turriff but he was in the Banff neck of the woods by 1884 when he married. Any info on the family set up, siblings etc would be much appreciated. Think WIlliam may have been in the building trade but that may be a red herring. Thanks Donna

hi ann was wounering if you try and give me any info on the following alexander forman (brother of thomas ) no information . last known adress was 17 robertson road dunfermile. peter forman (brother of thomas ) promted in the field during the first world war to captain. eventually attained the rank of major during the second world war. i have in fo on his brother if this helps thomas forman born in fordell dalgetty on the 4th december 1894 he was a labourer at rosyth navel dockyard. lived in colville terrace crossgates at one time married mary mcintyre on 28th march 1913 in fordell dalgetty brother alexander was witness as was maggie pratt thomas died at 29 mitchell cressent hill of beath on the 9th march 1961 aged 66 i cant find any info on the 2 brothers alexander or peter would be very very greatful if you could help me thanks heather
