Hi Anne Looking for a James Sim living in Danestown, Old Machar, Aberdeen. Wife Ann (nee Henderson). They had a son Edward who would be about 9 years old at that census. Would like to know names of any of the other sons daughters. James occupation was a labourer at kittybrewster station. Many Thanks if you could do this. From Brenda. Hi Anne, Is there any chance you could find a James Smith in glasgow for me. He was born 1865 Tradeston Glasgow to a Morris and Jane smith. I would also like to find a John Nicol born 1859 Auchterader Perth to a William and Elizabeth and should be in that area. Many thanks Julie |

Hello again Anne, thanks for all your help in the past, I wonder if you can lookup two family's in Dundee Angus in the 1881 census for me please. Betty Robert Dye and his wife Betty Dye, they had their son David Dye with them he was about 17/18 years of age in the 1881 census. also John McKinnis and his daughter Agnes McKinnes who would be about 17/18 years of age in the 1881 census, her mother was dead at the time of her marriage, info below.. The couple David and Agnes married in 1882 in Dundee and they were both 18 years old. I would be interested in finding out if there were any other siblings in both these families. Many Thanks |

Hi Anne Many Thanx for your offer Could you please look up John McKay bc 1850 Elie,Fife Amelia McKay bc 1854 Perthshire? Isabella McKay 1878 Elie,Fife John's occupation could possibly be a Shepherd or a Mason's Labourer. I would expect t hem to be in Fife as they do have another son Alexander in c1887 St Andrews,Fife Again many thanx for your generous offer Regards Kath x |

Anne, Could you please see if you can find a Duncan Mckinnon born about 1840 ,The info i have on him is he was born in Arygle poss. Oban . I have found him in England Jarrow on the 1891 /1901 but nothing before then . He may be in the Lanarkshire area at that time as his parents died when he was young and the children were split between relatives and most of them were in Glasgow Cath . |

Hi Annie: I don't have a census question as much as asking someone some informtion as to the county that Knoydart is located in. Family is Mcdonalds and they emmigrated to Canada in 1830's. Google did not give me the county as it listed as island? Your help would be appreciated. |
