Hi Anne I found William Orr age 30 in the 1871 census. He was born Nov 1840 in Paisley Renfrew. In 1871 he was single, living in Glasgow, occupation Cook. I think I may have found him in the 1861 census with birthplace Lochwinnoch, Renfrew. Could you have a look for him in 1881? Thanks April

Hi again Anne, Nice to see you back on the boards. Idid request this lookup before you had your hard drive problems, you may have missed it. Betty Robert Dye and his wife Betty Dye, they had their son David Dye with them he was about 17/18 years of age in the 1881 census. also John McKinnis and his daughter Agnes McKinnes who would be about 17/18 years of age in the 1881 census, her mother was dead at the time of her marriage, info below.. The couple David Dye and and Agnes McKinnes married in 1882 in Dundee and they were both 18 years old. I would be interested in finding out if there were any other siblings in both these families.
