Hi Anne, Many thanks for the kind offer. I am trying to find some information about a George Parfrey who I have found on 1891 census living in Lancashire. He was aged 17 then and a servant - all it says for place of birth is Scotland. Sorry I can't be more specific but it might just be Lanarkshire - will be grateful for anything you can find. Hi again Anne, Yes, I am as positive as I can be about the d.o.b.'s. It is possible that John Ritchie b. 1810 may have married Elisabeth Butters in Kennoway-Fife around 1828 & had the following children.but I'm not 100% sure.
