Hello Anne, Thanks for your kind offer. I am looking for my husband's grandmother born in 1868 in London. Her maiden name was Eliza Corstorphin(e) - married George Witchlow in London in 1897 was widowed and remarried William Lowman in 1901, again in London. However, family rumour says that she worked as a nanny in Edinburgh Castle (presumable prior to her marriages.). Can you check the 1891 census for the castle to see whether she was there at that time?
