Wendy, these children come up matching those parents. You will have to buy the certs to confirm they're yours though. Birth Sep 1920 Yeadon Leslie H Jones Liverpool 8b 137 Birth Sep 1916 Yeadon Jean I E Jones Liverpool.8b 137 Birth Mar 1914 Yeadon Malcolm C Jones Liverpool.8b 188 Birth Dec 1911 Yeadon George D Jones Liverpool.8b 229 can't see any likely candidates before this though. |

Allison, the only one I can think it might be is this... Births Sep 1898 ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Norman Dorothy Devizes 5a 110 Do you have her in 1901? Scratch that. I think this is her in 1901... Henry J Norman abt 1873 Calne, Wiltshire, England Head Croydon Surrey Eliza P Norman abt 1872 Haggerston, Middlesex, England Wife Croydon Surrey Dorothy E Norman abt 1899 W Norwood, Surrey, England Daughter Croydon Surrey Frederic W Norman abt 1876 Heddington, Wiltshire, England Brother Croydon Surrey which means this might be her... Births Sep 1898 ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Norman Dorothy Elizabeth Greenwich 1d 1076 |

Tracy if you can find Harry Davies for me in any census I'll share my lottery winnings with you (that'll be when I win something). Here goes Harry Davies married 1916 aged 40 (have marriage cert). Married Annie Ainsworth in Blackpool, Lancashire. Harry Davies (the same one) died 1950 aged 67. (have death cert). Year of birth for Harry according to these certs is between 1876-1883!!!!!!!!!!!!! Marriage cert details- father Alfred Davies occup baker/confectioner. Occupation for Harry on marriage cert is baker/confectioner, it also gives Private no for the war. Harrys' daughter my gran is still alive at the ripe old age of 85 but unfortunately doesn't know (or not saying) anymore details than what I've given apart from the one thing she remembers is that Harrys family ie his father Alfred had a bakers shop in Manchester area. She never met her grandparents. She seems to remember that Harry (her dad) got a girl 'in trouble' and his family disowned him. Have searched endlessy on census' records but come up with nothing that links Harry to Alfred. Have also tried war records but you probably know that a lot of them are destroyed. This is your challenge to find Harry and Alfred Davies. Good luck Marie |

Not so much find out just trying to pick brains to be honest, am not sure if I am 'missing' a Joseph in Yorkshire around that time. Don't think his father would have changed from being a cloth dresser to a carpenter! |
