Tracy Desperately trying to find anything at all on a George Hall who I understand was born 1859 in Kenton, Middlesex. His mother was a Josephine Chisnall b either 1822 or 1831 in Islington, father unknown except that I understand that he was a policeman. Would really like to know about his father and any descendents. Thanks Martin

Hetty, since Robert was called Robert William, it is probable that they are the same person. I wouldn't worry too much about that :) I can't find a marriage up to 1920, so I can't help there. As for the burial, do you have any idea when she might have died?

Hi Tracy, My grandmother is a real mystery....I have dicovered quite a lot about her, but I am having great difficulty in some areas. She was born Sarah Emma Wimbleton in Kensington, Middlesex,in 1873...She married Robert William Eadie in 1890 and they had several children ,my father was born in 1910 but the name on his birth certificate is not Robert as I expected but William...Robert had a brother William...how can I find out which one is my great grandfather?...I also know that she later either married or lived with a man called Scully...my father called him his step father and he lived in West Drayton Middlesex in the 1945/50s..how can I find where my grandmother is buried?...hope this isnt too much of a muddle...any information would be greatly appreciated . Mea, do you actually have the marriage cert? If not, I would suggest buying it so you can find out who her father was and exactly how old she was. I can't see anyone who looks obviously like her.

Hi Tracey, I have been reading through this thread, and would like to add a missing person to see if you can find her for me. I have been trying to find the birth of Alice Hebblewhite, she married in 3¼ 1929 Swindon 5a 51 to Alexander Lack. My problem is, I can't find a birth for her. I figured she must of been about 20 or near when she got married. This has had me puzzled for some time now. If she is connected to my Pap, his family moved from London between 1910-1913 to Swindon. He had a brother Alfred born in Swindon 1913. Any help with this would be great. Thanks Mea.
