Hello Maureen, If you get time could you look at the 1851 Census in Lanchester possibly Leadgate. I'm looking for Martin Nailis (various spellings of surname) and Mary McKenna or McCanna. Both born Ireland. I'm also looking for the Nailis family, Martin would be the head, in 1871. Hopefully they should be in Dunstan, Gateshead by this time. Thanks for the offer. Best wishes, Janice.
