Many thanks Andrea I have another one but I understand that you will have loads to do so won't have time to fit this one in too but if you are looking at Houghton-le-Spring marriages for anyone else and you come across Oscar William Bowmaker aged approx 20 to Margaret Ayre (I think) in late 1906 (registered December) I would appreciate the bride's father's name please. Hello Maureen, Thanks for the offer of help. Can you please look up the burial of Jane Raisbeck, wife of Matthew, at St luke's, Ferryhill at the start of September 1856? She died on the first at Byers Green, but they lived at Ferryhill, so I presume that is where she was buried. Thank you in advance, even if you don't get time. Hope you get a good viewer!! Hiya...only me! My ancestors are now coming out of the woodwork thanks to ancestry 51.....just found my 6xgrandfather alive and kicking aged 95 in Essex. Birthplace SUNDERLAND!!!!! Is there only one main church in Sunderland for the mid to late 1700's? If so and this isn't too vague, can I go on your list for 'whenever you get the chance' please..... Stonehouse Stuart born sometime around 1755-1760. This is the name he always uses although for some reason on his wife's death cert, he's named as Anthony Stuart If you get the chance anytime, anything likely would be a huge bonus! Thanks Lou

Maureen, would you please have alook to see if there is deaths of either Thomas Colclough or jane colclough after 1837. I know this is a huge task but a few years would be agreat help. They fell off the earth after 1841 census but found their son William in 1841 census visiting relatives in Thornaby. Regards, Jackie.

Maureen, I can't thank you enough. That is much more than I expected. You must have spent ages looking through the different churches in Hartlepool and I thought we'd decided to forget the Stockton marriage. What a bonus for me. You don't know what this means, as I can now hopefully get on with my brother-in-law's side of the family in time for his and my sister's golden wedding celebrations.
