Hi Tracey, I dont have his birth certificate I only know my Grandad (herbert Levison 1906 Blackburn) details, and know that his father changed his name after his birth but dont know how long after, I am not sure where to start looking, thought it would be so easy with the rare name but is proving very difficult, I dont know his mothers first name either. Catherine, if you buy the birth cert, with the reference I gave you, you will find out both his parents names :)

i am trying to trace ada miles born 1870 in reigate, In 1891 she was a ladies maid working at Belton House, Belton, Lincolnshire, i cant find any trace of her in 1901, could you find if she married and who to plz thanks karen

Hi Tracey.....been trying for 2 yrs to find my grtgrt grandparents marriage. Their first child was born in 1879 so l worked back from there. She is Lucy Jones (but on my grt grans birth cert it says that her middle name was Wiseman????) He was George Henry Wilson (but on the 1881 census he was living in Bristol as George Henry) She is from Liverpool, and he says he was born in Warminster Wilts!!She was born c 1857 and he was born c 1841. From Bristol they moved with my grt gran to Battersea London. Took me 3 years to find my grtgrans birth cert. as she was registered as Henry. My grtgran was born in Bristol so that's where l have been looking. Hope you can help me with this mystery.Thank you. Maureen

Maureen, I can't find a marriage for them. Her name might be Wiseman because it's George's mothers maiden name. Have you got them before 1881?
