Frances, I thought I'd figured it out, but now I'm not so sure. There's a birth for Lydia in 1837, in Ashton Under Lyne, which is the district for Newton. More likely to be your Lydia. However, I can't find her anywhere in 1851. The Bradford one is the only one there. Hi Tracy. Well I have looked and looked but can't find her anywhere. I have found some of her family looks like they were split up with different family member think the parents must have died. MARGARET MEADOWS BORN 1835 AT CHURCHTOWN NORTH MEOLS LANCASHIRE. I HAVE EVERYTHING FROM 1861 ONWARDS BUT NO SIGN BEFORE. There is one living with her sister Ellen but this isn't her, also found one in Liverpool but wrong age and place of birth. From where the family are she could be anywhere in the surrounding area. Ah Thanks Tracy Didn't know that. I am sure they were orphaned and split up have found two siblings with relatives. At least that makes sense as to why i can't find her. Just have to see if they turn up when the 1841 comes out. Thanks again Germaine x

My Grandfathers Nephew went missing not quite sure of the date he was called Bernard Lucas and from Chorley Lancashire or maybe Bamber Bridge Preston his mother was called Jessie Lucas nee Pendlebury and he had a sister called Florrie Rutter nee Pendlebury! Not much to go off I know Sorry

Linda, the only Thomas I can find is Thomas Daniel, and the only Edward I can find married a Haggart in 1912. I'm stumped.
