Tracy, if you are still awake! I have been looking in vain for records of the birth of Margaret Williamson. The earliest record I can find is the 1871 census where she is living as a boarder and is 6yrs. of age. I've also looked through BMD index. Any ideas? Thanks, Diane. |

Hi, Just wondering if you can help please? My great grandfather was born 26/07/1861 at 39 Stanhope St., Toxteth Park, in the county of Lancaster. The family came from Devon, it looks as though he was illegitimate, was born at the above address and then returned to Devon. Can you find out who lived there at that time, please? His birth name was Collins but changed to Collins Rogers at his mother's marriage several months later. I would love to know if she went to family or ?? Regards Margaret. My great grandfather's name was Charles Stetson Collins, his mother - Emma Collins. If possible I would like to know the inhabitants of 39 Stanhope St. at the 1861 census please. Thanks! |

Hi Tracy, thanks for your offer of help. I have been trying to find either a death or a marriage for my grandmother without any luck so far. Florence Charlotte Dummer born 13th Aug 1891 and she married Herbert Henry Hartery Dec 1913. My Herbert died 20th Dec 1917 and as my dad went into an Orphanage some time later I wondered if she either died or remarried. If you could search up to 1920 I would be most grateful. Thank you. Regards Patricia |
